Now I am not heavy into contouring, but I like to just lightly contour on the days I feel like my make-up just needs that something extra. So today I want to show you the contour products that I use.
It took me some time to figure out how to properly contour my face without looking silly and once I got the hang of it I decided to get a better contouring palette. I was trying to decide which contouring palette to start with and everyone was talking about this one from Beauty Treats. I had seen it while I was at Dischem and then finally decided to get it. I also needed a proper brush to contour with and decided to get this one from Cala.
Beauty Treats Face Contour Palette
I was really excited to try this palette out as the shades look gorgeous! I had used a contouring powder before and didn’t like how it blended, so I was a bit nervous to buy this powder palette as well. But to my surprise these shades blend easily and look amazing!
I find that the powder picks up really well on my brush and the colour is fantastic. Blending these shades are also easy, which is obviously a must when you are contouring. I also love the look of the packaging!
I only use like two of the shades on my face, so this palette might be a bit of an overkill for someone like me who just lightly contours, but overall this is a wonderful palette.
I bought this palette from Dischem for R99.95
Cala Angled Contour Brush
I also really needed to find a proper contouring brush and this one from Cala caught my eye and I just love it! It is so easy to use and the bristles of the brush are really soft. It picks up product really well and using it to blend when I contour works amazing!
I bought my brush from Dischem and you can get it for R99.95
What do you use to contour? I would love to know so please leave me a comment below!
