Bio Oil has been in my life since early high school days, without this wonderful oil my body would be full of scars and it has become an essential skincare product for me.
A few months ago I received this bottle of Bio Oil and this handy first aid kit (both came in very handy when little one decided to run on the pavement, which ended in tears and scuffed skin). So today I want to share my love for bio oil with you.
Bio Oil has genuinely been a savior for me over the years. If I did not use this product I would literally be covered in scars all over my body. Unfortunately for me my childhood and high school days were filled with endless surgeries which meant too many scars! My mom always made sure that after each surgery I had a big bottle of Bio Oil near me at all times and continuously reminded me to put some on! And I am so glad that she did, because it saved my skin.
Not only has it lightened my scars to where I don’t even notice them (unfortunately due to my surgeries they will never be completely gone) it also helped me through a time where I thought I would be stuck with my stretch marks forever after having little one.
Due to using Bio Oil on my belly every day throughout my pregnancy, I did not get one stretch mark, but after having her I had a bad reaction to medicine and gained more weight than what I did during my pregnancy. After the weight gain I started to notice stretch marks on the back of my legs and I immediately started using my Bio Oil! The combination of Bio Oil and taking care of my skin left me with no stretch marks there (or none that I can see anyway).
Bio Oil with its formulation of plant extract and vitamins in an oil base is a great product to help with the appearance of stretch marks and scars, it is great for uneven skin tone, aging skin and dehydrated skin. Bio Oil contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Calendula Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil and Chamomile Oil plus it is hypo-allergenic and suitable for sensitive skin!
Bio Oil has really helped me over the years and I hope that it will do the same for others as well!
